This seems like something that would happen in Montana. I’m sure it probably has. Recently, a Colorado man lost his driver’s license so he decided to ride his horse to his brother’s wedding in Utah, 600 miles away. Since it’s not like he could just take the chance and drive his car without his license. No, the only option he had was to ride his horse across two states.

As if this isn’t good enough, this same cross-country cowboy was arrested in Boulder for drunk driving while riding his horse. He was turned into the police by motorists because he was blocking traffic. When the police showed up they gave him a sobriety test, which he promptly failed. So he got to spend a free night in the pokey.

To me this seems like a story that could happen in Montana. I’m thinking Butte would be the most likely suspect. The only for-sure way to know that he was from beautiful Butte, America is his mullet. If he was rocking a sweet mullet, then you could be 100 percent sure that he had a permanent residence there.

However, I’m absolutely flabbergasted that this story did not take place in North Dakota. With all the things (mainly jokes) that I’ve heard about North Dakota, I would be shocked if this sort of thing isn’t a regular occurence there.

I never thought this day would come, but sadly it has. Yes, Colorado now ranks right up there with Butte and North Dakota. What is this world coming to?
