During the "Space Race" back in the 60's, President Kennedy gave inspirational speeches about our Mission to the Moon. Now,  fast forward to the current day and we are continuing our quest into space. But, the President doesn't seem to care much about the recent Mars landing or NASA in general. I understand he has more important things to worry about. But he can at least humor us and act slightly interested. The moon landing in the 60's at least took the countries mind off of Vietnam for a few days. Granted this is not a "Man on Mars." The rover "Curiosity" is full of a ton of weird gadgets that will supply a bucket full of data that may give us the "green light" for a manned Mars flight in the near future.

Here is how I think Obama's press conference should look like. Mars press conference is 6 minutes into the clip.
