Another man alleged to have been involved in the baseball bat beating and robbery of a Missoula convenience store clerk appeared in justice court Friday afternoon.

19 year-old Tureadon Ehud Thibodeaux was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and assault with a weapon, both felonies. Court records indicate that Thibodeaux and four other men conspired to rob Jay's Mart convenience store on January 8th, and then beat the clerk, Patrick Bendig with a baseball bat, causing extensive injuries.Thibodeaux was also placed on $100,000 bail by Judge Karen Orzech, and returned to jail.

The other men charged are currently in the Missoula County Jail on $100,000 bond each. They are Cruz Bernardi, Andrew Badger, and brothers Ikiaka and Devon Kamaka.

The victim, Patrick Bendig, was in court yet again to see another of his alleged attackers appear before the court. Bendig said he was glad the suspects all appeared via video, because he would have difficulty controlling himself if they appeared in person. Bendig continues to receive treatment for his injuries, and said he suffers from intense pain and vertigo every day. He still walks with a cane.
