A 25 year-old Pablo man was killed in a one-vehicle accident Saturday evening.

Montana Highway Patrol trooper Terrence Rosenbaum was the investigating officer on the scene, and said the man, later identified as 25 year-old Nathan Fisher, was driving alone on Valley View Road just outside Polson at about 5:30 Saturday evening.

Rosenbaum says the vehicle left the road, traveled through a fence and hit a tree. Fisher was not wearing a seat belt and was transported to Kalispell Regional Medical center where he was pronounced dead.

Rosenbaum says it is unsure if alcohol may have played a part in the fatal accident, and the investigation is ongoing.
