This is pretty cool. Sir Paul McCartney performed for the first time ever in Ecuador this week. NME reports that local authorities and the Ecuadorian Beatles fan club collaborated to put a huge reproduction of the logo from Paul’s ‘New‘ album across Pichincha Mountain, which overlooks Quito, where the show was held.

Considering that the authorities were involved, this was a legal work of art. However, I think that somebody could equal this awesomeness on Mount Sentinel for the upcoming Paul McCartney show at Washington-Grizzly Stadium. I'm not saying somebody should, as I do believe it's illegal to art up the mountain, I'm just saying, that would look pretty rad.

Tickets for the Missoula show are on sale Friday, May 9 at 10 a.m.
