At Saturday's Pearl Jam show in Spokane, a fan held up a sign that said if the band played his request, he'd let them shave off his dreads. And that's exactly what happened.  The guy had these long, nasty dreads down to his ass, probably has been growing them since Binaural was released. Eddie spotted the sign and the band played a hard core version of 'Brain of J' so the fan could rock out one last time while wildly swinging his dreads.

Around half way through the song, Eddie busts out the clippers and goes at the guy in between singing. Yes this dude lost his dreads, but how rad would this be for a dedicated Pearl Jam fan?

According to Jambase, former New Orleans Saints player and major Pearl Jam fan Steve Gleason helped choose the band’s set list for the Spokane show. In addition to the hits and a few more obscure tracks, Pearl Jam also rocked covers of the Velvet Underground‘s ‘After Hours,’ Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ ‘I Won’t Back Down,’ and Van Halen‘s ‘Eruption’ and ‘Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love’ for the Spokane crowd.
