As someone who has recently moved to the Bitterroot Valley, I hear people mention the Hamilton skate park on a fairly regular basis. Since celebrities like Jeff Ament and Tony Hawk, kicked in some hearty donations to the construction of the Stevensville skate park, I have practically lived at the park. I have seen how skate parks can add so much to small communities like Stevensville and Hamilton.

According to the Ravalli Republic

Earlier this year, the Circle 13 group jumped over its first major hurdle when it acquired about a half acre on the southeastern edge of the county fairgrounds.

Circle 13 president Bryan Dufresne said they have about $120,000 of the estimated $500,000 that it will cost to build the park, which will include a restroom, lightning, landscaping and a paved parking area.

If you are interested in helping with the Hamilton skate park. Call Bryan Dufresne at 406-370-5838.
