Law enforcement personnel are used to traffic accidents — it's part of the job — but today's fatal accident involving a 22 year-old woman and a propane truck at Reserve Street and River Road has even the most experienced police, deputies and troopers saying they've never seen anything like it. Peter Christian, from our sister station 1290kgvo.com,  spoke with Missoula County Sheriff's Sergeant Bill Burt about the accident and the process of moving, emptying and removing the propane tanker, so that the woman's vehicle could be recovered.

Reserve Street was reopened around 5:30 yesterday afternoon and an estimated 30,000 Missoulians were re-routed during the closure.
