Ravalli County Fair Parade Winners -2016

One of the longer Ravalli County Fair parades had plenty of people in the line-up and even more watching along Hamilton's Main Street August 31, the opening day of the Ravalli County Fair.

Winners this year:

Horse-drawn Vehicles - 1st - Pioneer Coach Wagon, 2nd-Ephraim Strain's Stage coach, 3rd - Kathy DeGreve

Groups Mounted - 1st - Bitterroot Mountettes (they were also the Color Guard)

Individual Mounted - 1st - Desi Squires, 2nd-Brad Squires, 3rd - Tikvah Strain

Dogs - 1st - Ravalli County 4H Dog Project, 2nd - Bitterroot Humane Association

Adult Novelty - 1st - Main Street Concessions. 2nd - Ray Peterson's Train Engine, car and caboose, 3rd - Billy "The Wizard" Angus

Clubs-Organizations - 1st - Hamilton Players "Western Knights", 2nd - Ravalli County Museum, 3rd - Sunshine Generation

Churches - Schools - 1st - Canyon View Church, 2nd - Riverstone School, 3rd - Ravalli Head Start

Antique Machinery - Darrel Sperry's 1966 John Deere 3020 Tractor, 2nd - Ray Sacks 1956 International SC 160 Farm Truck
