Record Heat – Fire Danger Looms – State Headlines [YouTube]

The National Weather Service is predicting record heat in western Montana for this weekend into the following Fourth of July weekend.

Fire danger has been raised to High in the Bitterroot National Forest, and Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks is considering fishing restrictions due to rising river and stream temperatures.

Highs could reach the low 100's by next Monday and Tuesday.
