Richard Kruspe put out an excellent album with his band Emigrate late last year, but he's more known for his guitar work as part of Germany's iconic band Rammstein. The rocker recently visited Loudwire's studios to promote Emigrate's Silent So Long disc, but also gave us an update on Rammstein's current status and recalled a favorite moment within the band.

In the video above, Kruspe states that the band typically meets once a year to determine what the future holds and they made the decision last fall to take the year off to pursue other projects before deciding when to do another Rammstein album.

The guitarist also reveals that Rammstein have fulfilled a lot of dreams for him over the years. In the interview, Kruspe discusses getting to play one of America's most vaunted venues and finally reaching the point in their career that they could play this historic stage. To see which venue he's talking about, watch the video above.

As stated, Kruspe is focusing on Emigrate this year. Be sure to pick up their Silent So Long album via Amazon or iTunes.
