Rob Zombie Unleashes Psychedelic Music Video for ‘The Life and Times of a Teenage Rock God’

Rob Zombie's new record, The Electric Warlock Acid With Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser, is an entertaining album celebrating the unique mind of the frontman and his love affair with horror and the circus. The songs are generally concise, allowing the frontman to fill some space with humorous spoofs in his music videos and "The Life and Times of a Teenage Rock God" is no exception.

Before the music video gets to the musical portion, an animated, quirky version of Satan takes the time to read fan mail. Rocking a curly mustache, multiple gold chains, scruffy sideburns and two huge, black horns, the Devil fields the question, "How do I become a teenage rock god?" The horned underworld ruler describes you don't need talent, good looks or even how to play an instrument, encouraging want-to-be rockers to "sign on the dotted line" and sell their souls!

The rolling heft of "The Life and Times of a Teenage Rock God" finally comes in backed by kaleidoscopic clips of Rob Zombie dressed as a mariachi band member. Zombie and the rest of his band, John 5, Piggy D. and Ginger Fish, all sport the same outfit as well as "sugar skull" face paint aligning itself with the celebrations of The Day of the Dead tradition.

The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 charts the week of its release, moving 41,000 copies.
