Rock Creek Fly Fishing Turns Up on a Hot Summer Day

Another great day fly fishing in this wonderful area. Rock Creek is not fishing bad at all! I enjoyed my time up there last night and had quite a few takes on my dry fly.

A lot of people are still traveling to find some great fishing and that's OK, but there is decent fishing right now on Rock Creek. The Purple Haze was where it was at but also, for nymphing, the Jumping Jack-flash is working and the ever effective San Juan worm.

The water is dropping and some Golden Sallies are also being said to work. Although about a month ago and even a few weeks ago they had some high rushing water.
