If it is one thing I like more than watching football, it is watching outdoor shows. I have grown up loving EVERYTHING outdoors. When I can't be out in the field experiencing them myself, I typically find myself at home living vicariously through other hunters on television. The only thing that I don't like about hunts on television, is that they are always successful. Rarely do you watch a show where the hunter gets "skunked." That is not real life, as a majority of sportsmen and women can go an entire season without a harvest.

Well, the reason why every hunt you watch on television is successful, is because those hunters have been filmed for hundreds of hours trying to bag that big bull. The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is starting a new series on Youtube, showing hunts that happened less than 24 hours earlier. It is a way to take a real look at what elk hunting is all about. No frills, not every hunt is successful. And, you can interact with the program and take 360 degree views of what the hunters are seeing.

The first episode airs tonight online. See the latest update from the RMEF crew and hear them explain what it is all about.
