Were you aware that Russia had sent geckos into space to have sex? True story. Sadly, the geckos died before they even got to have fun.

The geckos were sent into space for a study into the effect of weightlessness on their sex lives. Sounds like the best gig ever, right? A free trip to outer space and all you have to do it get it on when you get there. Unfortunately, the poor little lizards froze to death before they reached their destination.
