Salt Water? On MY Mars!?

It's more likely than you think.

New images released by NASA suggest that this pic over here that looks like your ex-girlfriend's eyelashes with three-day-old makeup may actually be remnants of saltwater flows on the Red Planet.

What does this mean for us? Aside from the fact that water is a crucial componant for life, and that signs of water could mean signs of life on a planet other than ours, this doesn't mean much. There's been talk of water on Mars for a while now, but it was ice, not actual flowing H2O.

Frankly, I'll be more impressed with signs of life in Missoula after Testy Festy, but I still thought this was pretty cool. I'm a nerd like that.
