Scary Lumberjack & Hot Chicks–Check Out Mastodon’s New Video [VIDEO]

I knew I was about to fall in love with the new Mastodon song when I listened for the first time and the songs starts "I killed a man cuz he killed my goat".  And the song does kick so much ass, 3 and a half minutes of pure rock goodness.  So I wasn't surprised at the awesomeness of the video for "Curl Of The Burl".

Here's basically what's goin' down.  Weird dude in a trailer in the forest doing drugs.  He grows extra hands and makes creepy shadow puppets.  The deer from the Queens Of The Stone Age video "No One Knows" shows up.  Dude is out of drugs, goes hunting for mushrooms, they have a face, he smokes 'em anyway.  He becomes a lumberjack.  Hot chicks show up.  The end. 

Mastodon are out of Atlanta and came out in 1999.  I first heard of them when we were spinning "Oblivion" on The Blaze back in the day.  Killer band.  Their new album is called "The Hunter", it's out Tuesday.
