A Montana Firefighter who had his truck, equipment, and valuables stolen while raising money to fight Leukemia and Lymphoma in Seattle, finally has some good news.

According to Seeley Lake area volunteer firefighter Sean Ellinghouse, the truck was found as well as the nearly $30,000 worth of firefighting equipment that were inside.

"Seattle PD found the truck, about three blocks away from where it was stolen," Ellinghouse said. "My cousin went and picked it up and took it back to her house, Seattle PD doesn't do anything with them after they're found." She went through the vehicle and found all of the firefighting gear was there... but all of the personal belongings of my wife were gone."

Ellinghouse has little hope of finding his wife's valuables and has doubts that anyone is looking.

"I don't know how much of a search is going on, I mean, unless you start looking on Craigslist or in pawnshops, I don't think you're going to find any of that stuff," Ellinghouse said.

The truck appears to have been discovered on Thursday March 12.
