Senator John McCain Thinks $1 Coin Could Mean Bigger Tips for American Strippers

Obviously Senator John McCain has never been to canadian strip clubs before, but McCain recently said that “they could obtain larger denominations.” In Canada the toonie ($2 coin) is a popular tip for strippers. The dancer will actually wear magnetic jewelry to catch the coins. John McCain thinks that if they push to eliminate the paper $1 bill, strip club customers will be more likely to tip $5 bills.

According to The Hill

Daniel Harris, owner of Archibald’s Gentleman’s Club in downtown D.C. told us back then, “I think it would be very awkward for everyone involved. How much more would a coin weigh than a dollar bill? It would be very hard.”

The manager also astutely pointed out, “You can’t put a coin in a garter belt.”

When pressed about the predicament facing scores of the country’s skin-baring and bill-collecting women, McCain responded without missing a beat, “Then I hope that they could obtain larger denominations.”
