“Smells Like Team Spirit” Meets “The Muppets”

You may have seen the trailer for the new upcoming Muppets movie. The immature side of me said “SWEET! I cant wait for a new Muppets movie” and the adult/mature/stoney side of me said “F@#K YEAH, I cant wait for a new Muppets movie.”
Scheduled to be in theaters November 23rd, the new Muppets movie is rumored to have a barbershop quartet covering Nirvana’s “Smells Like Team Spirit”. It is also rumored that former Nirvana drummer, Dave Grohl, is to make an appearance in the movie.
The soundtrack will be released on November 21st and will feature four original songs written by Bret Mckenzie of The Flight Of The Conchords. If you grew up with The Muppets like me and you have kids now, make sure to take them to this movie over the Thanksgiving holiday.
For now I would like to share with you a cover of an ol’skool Muppets song.
