Soundgarden “Black Rain” – Vidiot

Now that we are a few days into Spring. What is the first thing that comes to your mind? Besides flowers and Easter. Yeah, that’s right. Rain. In today’s Vidiot pick we focus on the gnarliest rain of them all. Black Rain.

In Soundgarden’s video for “Black Rain.” We witness the animated version of the band take on supernatural critters. Using only their minds. Fans of the Adult Swim show Metalocalypse may recognize some of the cameos in the video. The video is directed by Brendon Small of Metalocalypse and is the first ever artist-driven video to be based on the show.

Keep an eye out for a new Soundgarden album to be released in the near future. For now enjoy the video and keep an eye out for Nathan Explosion, Toki, Pickles, Skwisgaar and Murderface.
