Stolen Gift Cards Detected at Missoula T.J. Maxx, Authorities Seeking Info on Suspect

A T.J. Maxx gift card may be the link between justice and a string of robberies that occurred over the summer near the Equestrian Park in Missoula. Missoula county Sheriff's Office Public information officer Paige Pavalone says a victim of one of the thefts in November reported the gift cards stolen from their vehicle.

"A purse was stolen that contained several T.J. Maxx gift cards so T.J. Maxx was on notice to contact law enforcement if, in fact, someone utilized one of those stolen gift cards," Pavalone said. "Someone actually went in and used one of those cards recently and made some purchases."

The man filmed using the stolen gift cards was in TJ Maxx on December 3, anyone with information about this case is advised to call Five Valley Crimestoppers 721-4444.
