I love desserts, especially chocolate ones. This one is great because it cooks while you’re at work. If you’re like me and own more than one crockpot then you can have both dinner and dessert ready for you when you get home from your busy day. Imagine how great your house will smell with dessert in the crockpot.

This recipe is one I found online, but tweaked it a little to make it healthier for you, so you can feel less guilt when you’re on your second helping. Making a cake in a crockpot really helps to keep it moist. That is one thing I often struggle with when baking cakes in the oven. Every now and then they come out a little dry. However, with this crockpot cake recipe, you won’t have to worry about that.

Super Moist Chocolate Pudding Crockpot Cake

1 box chocolate cake mix

1 box chocolate pudding mix

2 cups Greek yogurt

4 eggs

1 cup water

1 cup coconut oil

1 bag chocolate chips

Throw cake mix, pudding mix, yogurt, eggs, water and oil into a large bowl and whisk together until well combined. Stir in the chocolate chips with a spoon.

Dump the batter into a greased crockpot and cook it on low for 5 to 6 hours with the lid on. You can tell if the cake is done if a toothpick when inserted comes out with just a few moist crumbs attached.

Serve this cake hot out of the crockpot with whipped cream or your favorite ice cream.
