A suspect sought in a stabbing incident has been arrested by Missoula police.

Public Information Officer Travis Welsh said the attack occurred on February 21 under the Reserve Street Bridge in a transient camp.

"We had a report of a male who walked into a local gas station on North Reserve street and claimed that he had been stabbed," Welsh said. "The man did have significant wounds, although none appeared to be life-threatening, and we have no made an arrest in that case."

Walsh identified the suspect as Glen Harley Stephens, 57.

"Stephens has been charged with felony assault with a weapon, and is in jail on $50,000 bond. He will appear in Missoula Justice Court on Tuesday afternoon."
