Dave Grohl and his Sound City Players hit SXSW 2013 last night (March 14), playing to a packed house at Stubb's BBQ in Austin. Grohl warned those badgeholders and attendees lucky enough to get into the show that it was going to be a long night, but we doubt anyone was too bummed about the prospect of a marathon set with Grohl at the helm. The show was one of the hottest tickets of the festival so far.

As he's been doing since he formed the Players, Grohl lead an all-star cast of musicians, including his Foo Fighters bandmates. Check out footage of the SCP performing Rick Springfrield's '80s pop hit 'Jessie's Girl.' Springfield himself was on hand to help sing the guilty pleasure, which oozed nostalgia and so-uncool-it's-actually-cool energy.

Among the other special guests was Stevie Nicks, who took the stage with Grohl earlier in the set. Together, they delivered such Fleetwood Mac classics as 'Dreams,' 'Gold Dust Woman' and 'Landslide,' and while Nicks' voice wasn't quite in tip-top shape, according to some reports, Grohl would probably be the first to say that not every show has to be flawless or perfectly executed to be awesome.
