With the Three Days Grace concert sneaking up on Wednesday, I am slightly bummed we wont see their former frontman, Adam, on stage. Gontier recently chose to step down as the lead singer of TDG. It is sad, because I was fortunate enough to spend the afternoon with Adam, back in January of 2012.
In the 10 days or so since the announcement of Three Days Grace's split with frontman Adam Gontier, more and more details have surfaced about their parting of the ways. Gontier is the latest to unveil more about his exit from the band, stating that it was more of creative decision, but also reiterating that he does have health issues.
The recent exit of Three Days Grace singer Adam Gontier from the group shocked many in the music industry, but probably no one more than the rest of his bandmates. After offering a very brief statement on Gontier's exit and revealing that My Darkest Days frontman Matt Walst would be filling in on their upcoming tour with Shinedown, more and more details have begun to leak out.
As Three Days Grace fans continue to absorb the surprising news from earlier today (Jan. 9) that frontman Adam Gontier has left the band, the singer himself has released a heartfelt letter explaining his departure.

Adam Gontier, the singer of Three Days Grace, was in Missoula yesterday and put on a show with fellow artist Martin Sexton...
This is the U.S. Debut of the first band on Adam Gontier's (of Three Days Grace) label (Sludge Factory Records). You heard it today first on The Blaze. If you missed it, check out the band's site to listen to the new song "I want it all."
