Two UM Football Players Tased And Arrested
Don't tase me bro! From Peter Christian in our news department:
Two University of Montana football players, quarterback Gerald Kemp, and cornerback Trumaine Johnson were arrested early Sunday morning at a residence on North Russell after a physical altercation with Missoula police. According to the Missoula county jail roster, Kemp and Johnson were both charged with misdemeanor resisting arrest, obstructing a police officer, disorderly conduct, and failure to appear, while Kemp was also charged with misdemeanor assault for allegedly striking a police officer. Police reports indicate that both players had to be tased in order to be subdued. Missoula Police Sergeant Jake Rosling says alcohol was also a factor in the incident. My interview with Sergeant Rosling is attached.
