It was no contest. The Big Sky Conference has named University of Montana quarterback Jordan Johnson the ROOT Sports offensive player of the week for his performance on Saturday night, September 14, against the University of North Dakota.
A double-dose of good news for Montana fans on Monday, as the Big Sky Conference named junior forward/guard Kareem Jamar as the Offensive Player of the Year, and senior guard Will Cherry, for the second year in a row, was named the Defensive Player of the Year.

The University of Montana’s Zack Wagenmann has been named The Big Sky Conference’s Co-Defensive player of the week. Wagenmann shared the award with Montana State linebacker Na’a Moeakiola, according to UM Sports information.
The Grizzlies men's basketball team locked up the Big Sky Conference with a victory in front of a rambunctious Adams Center crowd of over 7,000 people. They defeated Weber State 66-51 Tuesday night and will host the Big Sky Tournament
