Crush of the DAY

It seems as though Juliette Lewis has been around forever. She gained famed for her role in Cape Fear (and was nominated for a Golden Globe and Oscar) but has been on our screen (and in our minds) since her turn as Wayne’s girlfriend in ‘The Wonder Years.’

Brina Palencia has been talking to you for years. You might have even heard her voice in your dreams. No, she doesn’t live in your closet. She has provided voices for tons of English language versions of popular Japanese anime films and television series, most notably the ‘Dragonball Z’ series.

The Power & Grace Calendar is the official fundraiser of the US National Women’s Rowing Team.  All of the calendar proceeds will go to the US National Women’s Rowing Team to help cover daily training expenses. The entire team, and their calendar, is our ‘crush’ today.

Christine Quinn has appeared in ‘Shark Night 3D’ and ‘Humans Versus Zombies’ and will star in the forthcoming ‘The Ghost of Goodnight Lane’ with Billy Zane. She also wants a guy that will just lie there and not make a sound. That will make sense in due time.

Today’s crush, Anna Kournikova, was a professional tennis player that has used her good looks to become one a worldwide brand, even though she never won a singles tennis title and retired years ago.

Tehmeena Afzal is cover model that’s been featured in King and Show magazines and has appeared in numerous music videos. In her high school days, she was named to All City and All State teams in softball and won Female Athlete of the Year. Tehmeena is our crush for being both beautiful and ridiculously athletic.

Playboy magazine’s ‘Miss November’ Ciara Price is a self-described “closet nerd” that has been taking apart computers and putting them back together since the seventh grade. She was the only girl in her computer class and the guys loved that she could keep up with them and speak their language. Ciara is our crush for still being a gorgeous dork all these years later.

Jennifer Hawkins is an Australian model and former Miss Universe winner. In 2010, Jennifer appeared naked and unretouched on the cover of Marie Claire magazine (Australian version) to support the Butterfly Foundation and encourage positive attitudes towards body image. Jennifer is our crush today for showing that a woman can be hot even without Photoshop.

Mina Stefan is a NON-NUDE pin up model and was voted the sexiest girl on Twitter by the Playboy website The Smoking Jacket. Mina would really like to stress the fact she is a NON-NUDE model (hence the CAPS) and that’s the reason she is our crush today.

Erna is from Reykjavik, Iceland and has done spreads in several Icelandic magazines, appeared in music videos and TV commercials and graced the cover of Bleikt & Blatt magazine which, according to Erna’s modeling profile page, is the Icelandic version of Playboy. Reality TV star and aspiring singer Brooke Hogan is among the latest celebs to get naked for a good cause. The 23-year-old daughter of pro wrestler Hulk Hogan posed for an arty black-and-white photo by Jordan Michael Zuniga. The blond bombshell appears nude and crammed into a small cage, in an apparent comment on animal suffering.
