Florence + the Machine recently recorded an episode of ‘MTV Unplugged,’ which included an unexpected appearance from Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme. The unlikely pair teamed up to do a duet of the classic Johnny Cash song ‘Jackson.’ Florence Welch explained that all the pieces came together perfectly for their live cover.

So last year, Josh Homme got me all zesty by reporting that Queens Of The Stone Age were working on a new album for 2011. Then...nothing. Didn't hear from them for a long time.

As it turns out, Josh had knee surgery, he says it went badly and he actually died, but survived on the operating table
