Beware Of Headbanging Bears!!!!
Remember my post from yesterday about the Canadian guy who got attack by a bear while he was pooping? Well that is nothing compared to the carnage that a Black Bear that jams to metal music can do to you.

Weather this weekend does not look very promising for the camping. Unless you have a delux camper with sattelite TV and a deck of cards. Forecast calls for rain tomorrow and Sunday. But don't let a little drizzle keep you from taking advantage of the 3 day weekend. Just pack a jacket and a poncho. You will be fine.
Summer time in Montana means that the Fall hunting season will soon be here. It is time to start "fine tuning" your shooting skills in preparation. I recently had the chance to have some quality time with my 5 year old nephew while taking care of a local landowners rodent issue.
The Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks recently had a rendezvous in Helena about what to do this year with the Wolf hunting in the state.
This year could be a record breaking year for the Spring Mack Days up on the Flathead. Sunday marks the close of this years event and their are still plenty of fish to be caught. Including some of those tagged fish we have talked about
Did you catch any fish this last weekend? If so, I have discovered this crazy recipe to hook up with your fish. It sounds hard to make. But it is probably the easiest thing you can do if you are looking to impress someone.
The "Beyond Hell and Above Heaven Tour" has officially gotten underway. Volbeat and Hell Yeah are going tear it up this Summer and will be stopping in Montana on their path of destruction. They will soon land themselves in Billings on July 2nd
The weather is heating up and that means the runoff has begun. You may have noticed that some of your favorite fishing holes have turned to the same color as an ice cold glass of chocolate milk. No worries! You still have plenty of great places to hit up and "fling some flies
Paddlefishing is something I have only done once. To which I was unsuccessful. But it sure is a good time. Not a lot of skill involved and a damn good reason to drink some beer. The 2012 Paddlefish season is underway and as of Saturday, almost 200 fish have been taken
Tried out a new recipe for trout on the grill. Let's just say it was the "Bee's Knees." If you are sick of the typical trout, butter, salt and pepper and lemon (wrapped in foil). Try this next time you are hooking up fish on the grill. Crab Stuffed Trout. Putting a little "Class in the Bass." Or in this case "Class in the Trout."
With the rivers finally blowing out and turning the water into something that resembles millions of gallons of YooHoo. It is safe to say that fishing the rivers and streams is poor. Bob from Mofisch Charters sent us the awesome picture above of a 12lb Rainbow Trout taken out of Bitterroot Lake
If you are thinking about bagging a moose this fall. You better, as I like to say, "S#!t or get off the pot." Today is the deadline to apply for your permits.
