Unfortunately this cold front has brought some wind but it is going to be sticking around for Western Montana again through next week and hopefully providing a lot of much-needed rain.
What this is saying is that we should be expecting thunderstorms throughout the rest of our month of September then in October we should see a mix of sun and rain.
If you hear folks in Montana complaining about a hot summer, they’re not wrong. According to National Weather Service Meteorologist Luke Robinson, temperatures so far this month have been above normal.
Warm weather this past week led to flooding in many areas of western Montana, but it shot an ice jam on Lolo Creek toward the highway and is now being carefully monitored.
