Tattooed Moms Raise Criminals

A Facebook page called "Your Tattoos Make You A Horrible Mother" is kicking up a bunch of anger and controversy online by making posts such as the following.

Counter pages have sprung up, including "People Against Your Tattoos Make You A Horrible Mother." It seems that average social media morons just don't seem to be grasping the witty sarcasm of it all.

The page often sites "Fetal Ink Syndrome" and "Healthy Body Dysmorphic Disorder" as explanations to why your children are terrible people who will grow up to be criminals.

The page's description states, "Have you ever seen a tattooed woman holding a baby and think, "How in the heck is that child going to stay off drugs and out of jail?" So have we." And the creator of the page says, "My name is Ron, and I am a graduate student devoted to research in developmental psychology. My research is focused on tattoo ink as a teratogen, which negatively affects child development both in and out of utero. Join me in educating our communities on the negative impact these body modifications have on our unborn youth."
