Thanksgiving- the day for giving thanks, sitting down with the fam, and gorging on delicious food (depending one who does the cooking).  I have always lucked out with parents that were both talented in the kitchen.  Seeing as how Im not the only child, this blessing brings issues as well.  When it comes to the last serving of green bean cassarole or the last scoop of mashed potatos, there have been races to the fridge for leftovers, fork induced stab wounds, and sneaking the reheated food out of the microwave before the other one gets back to the kitchen.  I am the looser in most of these circumstances, which means im going to have to up my sneakiness a few points this year.

All joking aside, if you havent already heard, the Missoula Food Bank was running so short on turkey that they had to turn some families away.  The Blaze told listeners that for every turkey they donated to the food bank between 1pm and 4pm on the 22nd, they would receive an entry to win tickets to Avenged Sevenfold at the Adams Center plus backstage passes to meet A7X and Hollywood Undead.    Tons of people showed up with turkeys, most of which were not concerned with making the time for passes, they just wanted to help.  There were so many turkeys donated, the Missoula Food Bank was able to call back some of the families previously turned away.  One of our listeners, Chris Burton, donated a total of 25 turkeys!

Thank you to all of you that donated, you have made at least one family's holiday!
