The Budweiser Donkey?
Who doesn’t love the Budweiser Clydesdales? They are pretty hard not to love. These beautiful animals are a symbol of strength and tradition. They were first introduced in 1933 to celebrate the repeal of the Prohibition. The first team of Budweiser Clydesdales carried the first case of post-prohibition beer from the Budweiser brewery in St. Louis to Pestalozzi Street in St. Louis.
I don’t think there is a better mascot out there. But what would you think if the Budweiser carriage was pulled by a team of donkeys? Would that scream proud American beer to you? I have a hard time believing that you would get quite the same feeling of majesty and strength if you saw a team of six donkeys pulling around a red Budweiser carriage.
Still, don’t you think that a donkey deserves a chance at least? A chance to be more? A chance to dream and maybe even a chance to see that dream come true? What if a donkey was a Budweiser donkey? You might be surprised at what you think about a Budweiser donkey after you see this.
