Top 10 96.3 The Blaze Stories of 2011
If we had to describe 2011 in two words it would be: ROCK and NUDITY! Thank you to all the awesome bands that graced Missoula's stages this year, and all the hot babes that made the year that much better.
Ministry broke about three years ago, but Al Jourgensen gave us all some good news when he announced that the band is getting back together and releasing an album and launching a tour. In other big news, Jourgensen said he is the healthiest he's been in over 20 years.
How can you not love this Western Montana tradition? Luckily, you all some how managed to actual remember some stories to share with those that didn't partake in this year's festivities so they could be jealous of all the awesomeness.
We got the naked truth from the Griz game streaker when he stopped by our studio days after the incident. Yes, he was full dressed for this occasion so it's safe to watch the video of Angel's interview with him.
Puddle of Mudd rocked the Wilma Theater on Nov. 29. They were joined by Pop Evil and Lansdowne.
May 26, 2011 was a big day for Missoula residents as they welcomed Foo Fighters … especially our own Angel, who in case you hadn't picked up on it is a HUGE Foo Fighters (and Dave Grohl) fan.
Syd Duran, who was voted Hottest Chick in Hard Rock by Revolver Magazine this year. The band she's in “Valora,” also happens to have their own graphic novel, which we shared with you.
We were stoked to get to share with you the announcement of the “Share the Welt Tour's” stop in Missoula on Oct. 24 at the Adams Center. The show included Five Finger Death Punch, All That Remains, Hatebreed and Rev Theory.
In honor of Mother's Day we held the 11th Annual Blaze Mother's Day MILF contest. Heidi was our big winner, though I think we were all winners this week as we took on the task of checking out local hot moms.
One of our most viewed stories this year was about an event that hasn't even happened yet, so it's not too late to get in on the excitement. Avenged Sevenfold is bringing its “Buried Alive” tour to Missoula on Tuesday, Dec. 13.
On March 18, 2011 we held our 11th Birthday Bash. We celebrated with the Music As a Weapon Tour featuring Korn, Disturbed, Sevendust and In This Moment.
