Tosh.0 Crew Member Shot & Killed By LA Police

A freelance production assistant for the Tosh.0 show was mistakenly shot and killed by Los Angeles sheriffs deputies Monday night in West Hollywood.

Police were called to an apartment complex and told that a man with a knife was assaulting people. When they arrived, one of the victims came out of the apartment covered in blood, 30-year-old John Winkler, who was also a victim, followed and lunged at the back of the first man causing police to suspect he was the attacker and fire rounds.

John Winkler died on the scene and the attacker has been charged with one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder, and one count of torture. Yikes.
