Punk-rap supergroup the Transplants, featuring Rancid’s Tim Armstrong, Rob Aston (aka "Skinhead Rob") and Blink-182’s Travis Barker, are finally getting ready to release a new album -- their third overall and first since 2005 -- in the spring.

The band recently broke the news on Facebook, writing "‘IN A WARZONE’ is the title of our new album. Out in May.” The announcement was a long time coming, and it sparked a buzz of excitement among their fans.

The Transplants have been dropping hints about working on new material since 2010, when they reunited following a hiatus that had lasted several years. 'In a Warzone' follows 2005's ‘Haunted Cities,’ which landed at No. 28 on the Billboard 200 chart.

The group performed the forthcoming disc’s title track at the Roxy in Los Angeles last February — check it out below. Although their official website is “coming soon,” you can click here to sign up for their newsletter to get the latest info.
