Two Lolo residents and a juvenile were arrested early Thursday morning on felony Grand Theft charges by deputies from the Idaho County Sheriff's Office in Grangeville, Idaho.

Idaho County Undersheriff Jim Gorges said the arrests involved the theft of equipment from a construction site near Kooskia, Idaho.

"As he was en route to that area, he saw a vehicle matching the description belonging to the suspects. that was doing 35 miles per hour in a 25 zone, so he instituted a traffic stop. He found a gray generator matching the description of the stolen item in the vehicle. He then called for a cover unit, and I responded to the scene."

Gorges said there were three suspects in the vehicle, all from Lolo, Montana.

"After obtaining a search warrant for the car, where we found two generators. There was a 15 year-old male juvenile along with his mother, 43 year-old Michaeleen R. Herron, and another male identified as 18 year-old Charles W. Thompson," he said. "All three were taken into custody. They were all charged with felony grand theft.
