Veterans Day is Monday, November 12 this year. Many Americans appreciate what our veterans have done for this country. We all aren’t able to show our appreciation, but lucky for us, some local companies are doing it for us by offering them some free meals and discounts. Here is a list of some companies who just want to show their appreciation this Veterans Day.

Little Caesar's – Show a valid military ID and you can get a free order of Crazy Bread.

Outback Steakhouse – Veterans can get a free Bloomin’ Onion and Coca-Cola product if they bring in a U.S. Uniform Services ID card, U.S. Uniform Services Retired ID card, current leave and earnings statement, DD form 214, a veterans organization card, a photograph of you in uniform, or you can just wear your uniform.

Applebee's - Bring in one proof of military service (like the ones listed above)or a veterans organization card, such as American Legion or VFW. You will be able to choose a free meal from a limited menu that includes steak, cheeseburgers, chicken tenders, salad, pasta, chicken and shrimp. Note that this is a dine-in only deal, and any beverages and gratuity are not free.

Denny’s – Have your valid active duty and veterans military ID, and you can get all-you-can-eat pancakes for free.

Home DepotIf you present a valid military ID, you can get a 10 percent discount. They also offer this discount to veterans on Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day too.

Lowe’s – Bring a valid military ID and you can get a 10 percent discount up to $5,000 on in-stock and special-order purchases. Sorry, this offer can’t be used online, on previous sales or on sales of services or gift cards. Lowes also offers this veterans discount on Memorial Day and the Fourth of July too.
