Vince Neil Twitter Bashes Gun Defending Fans

The tragedy of the recent shootings in Connecticut have sparked the gun control debate again. It has always been a topic in politics and with every shooting that occurs, people blame it on the guns. Vince Neil of Motley Crue recently freaked out on fans that were defending guns via Twitter.

Of course I can see the argument and why people are enraged. But I am also a RESPONSIBLE gun owner and beleive that the crimes are not the “guns” fault. The argument that I can, somewhat, agree with is the topic of assault rifles. Granted I think they are fun to shoot and great for protecting your home, but are they necessary?

According to Loudwire

Motley Crue’s Vince Neil was among many rock acts speaking out via their social networks late last week after the tragic school shooting in Connecticut, but the rocker got a little hot under the collar after a number of his followers debated his call for gun control.

His initial tweet was a simply put, “Sad day today. Prayers to all the families. Gun control!!!” While Neil definitely meant to put the focus on the tragic events of the day, there were enough of his followers that latched onto the final comment about gun control that he felt the need to respond.
