Want to Retire? Montana Is One of the Top States

Using 31 categories, the website "Wallethub.com" has listed the Best and Worst States to Retire, and Montana is listed in 12th place.

The state received high marks in Healthcare and scored above average for Affordability and Quality of Life. The state was third best for Lowest Tax Rate.

The website reported 31 percent of all nonretired adults in the U.S.A. as having no retirement savings or pension. With that in mind, they developed their list. See it here.

At the top was Florida (with almost 19 percent of its population considered retired).

Surprisingly, in second place was Wyoming, followed by South Dakota, Iowa and Colorado for the top Five.

The worst states in which to retire? The bottom Five are Hawaii, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Alaska and Rhode Island.

So, as long as you like four seasons and friendly people, this could be a nice retirement home.
