Two Washington State residents, Lovell Antron Cotton and Trittnie Von Rogers were arrested in the Missoula Home Depot parking lot on Thursday, April 30 with over a pound of methamphetamine and two ounces of cocaine.

According to court documents a confidential source, who was arrested on drug and firearms charges on April 22, told Missoula police about an upcoming drug deal with two individuals from Washington State. On Thursday, April 30, police observed a burgundy Chrysler 200 with Washington plates coming in off I-90, and followed it to the Home Depot parking lot where the confidential source had told them to meet. Cotton, 34, and Rogers, 23, were both arrested and charged with two counts of felony criminal possession of dangerous drugs with intent to distribute.

Both appeared via video in Missoula Justice Court on Monday. Cotton was placed on $150,000 bond and was remanded to the jail, while Rogers was released after posting $10,000 bail.

The Seattle Times reports that Cotton was convicted of murder as an adult at the age of 13 and was placed in juvenile detention until the age of 21.

According to Deputy Missoula County Attorney James McCubbin, the maximum sentence for each charge is 20 years in the Montana State Prison and a $50,000 fine. The street value of the methamphetamine is believed to be between $15,000 and $20,000.
