We Heart Rollergirls

Have you ever been to a Hellgate Rollergirls derby at their Westside building?  Pure Missoula Goodness.  The last time I went in November, it was oversold, rowdy ass fans shoulder to shoulder, beer, mixed drinks and if you had to take a leak, it was in a port-a-potty outside in the pitch dark.  Like I said, Pure Missoula Goodness.

The HRG are genuine bad asses.  They don't front.  They don't just kick ass in their skates, they kick ass all goddamn day, raddest chicks you ever met.  And hot as Hell.

To my delight, the organization has gotten so popular that they have scheduled a bout at the Adams Center.  Saturday, March 25th.  The Dirtroad Dolls Vs. The Brawlin' Mollies.  Get tickets now at GrizTix outlets (Worden's, the Southgate Mall) or online.  $20 for floor (and totally worth it!) $16 for reserved.

If you wanna check out the rollergirl badassery tonight, the ladies are hosting a documentary called "Brutal Beauties" tonight at 9:45 at the Wilma.  It's a flick about the Rose City Rollers, the Portland rollergirls, part of the Big Sky Film Festival going on all week at the Wilma.  There's an afterparty at The Badlander, bust out your best knee highs, see ya there.
