Well This Sucks, Granny Panties are Back (Ugh)

I've been meaning to break the news to you, but was hoping it wasn't true. Granny panties are making a comeback, and not just for your mom.

It's mostly hot, young women who are sporting the dreaded grandma drawers. I suspect it's to accommodate those awful jean shorts with a waist that ends nearly at the chest that are so popular.

And then there's the silver hair trend. Why does everybody want to look so elderly? Call me an old curmudgeon, but I still say the more skin, the better, especially when it comes to summer, and you're not getting that done with your old lady underpants.

Here's the down low on the bottoms. Sales on thong panties have decreased 7% over the past year, and sales of granny panties are up 17%. It is said that this is happening because they're more comfortable, they can be more flattering on some women by covering up areas they feel insecure about, and they make a feminist statement. If you want to make a feminist statement, how about bringing back bra burning? That's something I can get down with.
