Every state has at least one movie that has been filmed there and that they are famous for. Some are obvious winners, like "The Hangover" in Nevada or "Napoleon Dynamite" in Idaho. Other states really have to dig deep, like "127 Hours" for Utah, I've never even heard of that movie.  What movie is Montana famous for? A River Runs Through It? Nope. Little Big Man? Nada. The Horse Whisperer? Hell no.

According to Business Insider, the answer is Legends Of The Fall. I've never seen this movie, or A River Runs Through It for that matter, which makes me a bad Montanan I guess. So I don't know if that's the appropriate choice, but I do know this fun fact. Shallow Hal, staring Jack Black, was rumored to be filmed in Montana but was actually shot in North Carolina.
