The list is based on the number of crimes per 100,000 residents in each county, and some Montana counties with smaller populations rank right up there with some of the most crime ridden cities in the country.

  3. Fergus County (Lewistown)
  4. Sheridan County (Plentywood)
  5. Broadwater County (Townsend)
  6. Lake County (Polson)
  7. Hill County (Havre)
  8. Golden Valley County (West of Roundup)
  9. Missoula County
  10. Lewis & Clark County (Helena)
