What to do this weekend in Missoula – Pet Fest 2012

Got talked into going and checking out Pet Fest this morning. It is the 7th annual Pet Fest happening at Caras Park. I have been to one in the past, and I gotta say, it is pretty cool. Especially for us pet lovers.

According to petfest.net "Pet Fest promotes responsible pet ownership with education through entertainment. Animal shelters are faced with an incredible burden of dogs and cats that they cannot find homes for. Having your pet neutered ensures that you will not be adding to the problem. Adopting from shelters and rescues provides loving homes instead of sitting in a cage waiting for a home or being humanely euthanized."

Also there will be the main attraction, the Weiner Dog Dash, at 2pm. With Mayor John Engen calling the race.
