What Was The Worst School Lunch Growing Up?

For lots of school kids, when you say school lunch it isn't always a look of delight on the kids face. In the recent years I think people have become a lot more aware of school lunches and the importance of a balanced diet as these kids are learning all day.

When I was in school, there were some really good things offered by my schools and there were some horrible things that make me still cringe when I think about them.

First was the pizza, at my elementary school growing up I remember it being more of the consistency of rubber. You could tell just by touching the "cheese" that it wasn't actual cheese and the tomato sauce was very watery.

But the absolute worst school lunch that I remember were the hot dogs, I promise you they were actually green in color. Not neon green, but it was the only time in my life I saw a hot dog that was green in color so it really stood out.
