Have you ever thought about what it would be like to meet your favorite artist of all time? Well I had a chance to and I felt like a giggly schoolgirl. Weird I know, but that's how amazing it felt to meet one of the coolest artists ever. That man was Ed Sloan. He sings vocals and shreds the guitar for Crossfade. Funnier though, is the story of my friend Emily.

groups was the Black Veil Brides. Their singer goes by the name of Andy Biersack, formerly known as Andy Six. Emily is OBSESSED with him. In the months leading up to the concert, the most talked about subject between us was what she would wear and how she would act when she got to meet him. She knew that they both loved Batman and she planned to wear a sexy Batman T and black leggings. She also told me that when she met him, she was going to act like she had no idea who he was and she was gonna try to play it cool. During this whole conversation, I could not hold in my laughter. She loves him so much that she once knew exactly what interview I was watching on YouTube just by what he was saying. Sadly, she didn't get to meet him, but she swears that he made eye contact with her and smiled. I laughed hysterically but I knew EXACTLY how she felt.

Ed Sloan may be my favorite rocker of all time.

Back in 2005 Crossfade came into town and played at the Wilma. It was the most personal show I had ever been to. Before the show though, a group of my friends and I saw Ed Sloan. He was just walking down the street towards the Wilma. We followed him, but none of us had a pen! We stopped in four or five shops and had no luck... At this point we were starting to freak out but we finally got a Sharpie. We caught up to him and he signed autographs for us and talked for like fifteen minutes. He was by far one of the coolest rockers I have ever met. He even recognized me up front during the show! Now that I write this I realize that if I have ever had a man-crush in my life, it is Ed Sloan. That is just a little bit creepy.

Anyway, now that you're heard these stories, what is the craziest thing you have ever heard someone do to meet their idols?
